There really is no 'best' way to savour strawberries, they are a matter of mood:
~ Dip whole in molten chocolate
~ Slice into sweetened cream
~ Macerate with sugar and mint, or
~ Sip champagne on the side

At just 45 calories every 150 grams, you cannot find a healthier way to sin (although accompaniments will add calories)!
Breakfast brighteners: They are a favourite breakfast brightener.
Sliced over pancakes or waffles, chopped into cereal or quickly zapped into a compote to enjoy over bread pancakes or even to suff crepes.
Simply sprinkle with sugar, zap it in the microwave -- this also works well with citrus fruits such as oranges and grapefruit.
Life of a party: A dusting of cinnamon while still warm and a drizzle of wine prior to cooking and you are ready to party!
Salad temptation: They often add oomph to salads. But use them judiciously, since they are easily wasted.
Try strawberry vinegar atop salads. I find it a better way to enjoy the addictive flavour of the strawberry.
