The double whammy!
When having strawberries with chocolate, I want the combination uncluttered.
Simply pile oodles of washed berries on a large platter with a bowl of hot chocolate sauce to dip in. You could get fancy and offer milk, and white and bitter chocolate sauces.

Strawberry Pancakes
Ingredients
1-1/4 cup all purpose flour (Maida)
2 tbsp sugar
2 tsp baking powder
3/4 tsp salt
1 egg
1-1/4 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla paste or extract
3 tbsp butter, melted (plus more for cooking)
1 cup strawberries, sliced
Method
~ In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt well.
~ In a smaller bowl, lightly beat an egg. Add in milk, vanilla and 2 tbsp butter.
~ Mix wet ingredients with dry and stir just until flour is moistened.
~ Heat a nonstick frying pan over low flame and brush lightly with butter.
~ Pour 1/2 cup batter on a hot pan. Let it cook slightly.
~ Arrange a few strawberry slices over cooked batter and cook till edges look slightly dry.
~ Turn and cook the other side until golden.
~ Keep warm and repeat with the remaining batter.
To serve: Serve strawberry side up with additional butter, fresh strawberries and chocolate sauce.
