While you plan the Easter fun, keep in mind these safety tips -
Keep your child's age and attention span in mind before starting any cooking or craft project. Before you begin, do ensure safety all cooking and crafts must be done under adult supervision.
Tools and implements should be safe; plastic knives. small flexible icing spatulas for decorating cakes and cookies and blunt-edged scissors and non-toxic and washable paints, markers and glue for crafts.
Teach children to keep things clean (and save you more work later) by covering work surface with news papers and keep ample paper towels and damp sponges ready for quick cleanup along the way!

250 g cashew nuts/ almonds,
500 g sugar,
2 egg whites,
1/2 tsp almond essence,
rose water for grinding the nuts.
Soak nuts overnight (peel almonds). Then grind with rose water and set aside. Beat egg whites. In a large vessel with a sturdy bottom, combine ground nuts, egg whites and sugar in a copper vessel and mix well. Place on medium heat, stirring all the time.
Once the mixture thickens turn down the flame to low. Continue stirring (do not let mixture burn) and when it begins to leave the side of the vessel remove from the fire. Cool and knead into a mass. Divide into portions and dye different colors with food coloring.
