From intricate neckpieces, rings, bangles, earrings and chains to more traditional pieces such as the sarpech (turban ornament), hathphool (hand ornament) and bhor (forehead ornament), the collection is nothing short of extravagant!

The movie, directed by Ashutosh Gowarikar, is the love story of Mughal Emperor Akbar and his Rajput wife, Jodhaa who retains her individualism and her faith even though she is married to a Muslim.
The dazzling array of precious ornaments worn by Hrithik Roshan (Emperor Akbar) and Aishwarya Rai (Jodhaabhai) truly brings to life the opulence of the Mughal and Rajput trousseaus.
Queeta Rawat of Tanishq Design Studio, one of the designers behind the collection has studied Jewellery Designing and Manufacturing from Le Arti Orafe, Italy. She has been designing high quality jewellery for Tanishq ever since.

Decking Aishwarya Rai
Aishwarya is such a style icon. It was a great privilege for me to be designing her jewellery ensemble. At the same time I had to keep in mind that the jewellery should give her that air of a Rajputana.
So we introduced very stylised accessories, which went beyond the elegant neckpieces. We designed bhors (forehead ornaments), ornate earrings and even blouse accessories!
