Amidst the hustle and bustle at Jacob Circle in Mumbai is this little décor store called Mystique. With its placid white exterior and heavy dark wood panelled door, it beckons you to get away from the humdrum of the city.
An assorted display of South-East Asian products at Mystique
Set foot into the store and you feel like you have been transported into another world. The yellow ochre textured walls and slightly worn-out brick red tiles lend a certain warmth to the store. And as I let my surroundings slowly sink in, I experienced a sort of surreal comfort.
