Layers…of style
Layering is definitely in; wear a short top over a long one. Use jackets and sweat shirts and team with colourful tees, vests or a sporty bustier.
A razorback vest can be worn in many different ways, wear one over a full sleeve t-shirt or under an off shoulder top.
Always use bright colours over soft ones. Hot fuchsia pink, turquoise blue and sea green are in right now.
Chic Assemble
Try these looks to make heads turn at the party…
Team a short sleeve blouse with a short jacket, wear this with boot legged jeans and gold canvas boots. Flaunt your aviator sunglasses and make heads turn.
Borrow a shirt from your dad or partner, and wear a sporty waistcoat over it. Team this with a hip-hugging jeans boots.
Sporty Accessories
Accessories always compliment your look, and for sporty look you have to break the monotony.
Get away with girly handbags and carry your stuff in a nap sack. Get one in bold colours. But if you
still want to stick to them, get a metallic one.
For your hands nothing can be cooler than Wristbands. Doesn't matter whether they are made of leather, plastic, or the towel material, they all look great. If you want to wear them with a twist, wear them in your arm instead.
For a retro touch wear elastic hair bands, preferably broad ones in bright colours.
Don't forget to wear aviator sunglasses; they are J Lo's favourite and one of the coolest eye gears perfect for the sporty look. If heels keep you from getting on the dance floor, wear metallic sneakers. Pick them up from Nike or Reebok.
Do-it-yourself
- To give your favourite pair of jeans a party look, get sequin embroidery on them.
- Stick, studs or sequin-embroidered patches on your sporty tee, skirt or pants to make it perfect for a semi-formal evening.
- Give your short denim skirt a formal look by adding brocade ruffles at the hem. Use multiple prints and colours of brocade, and give layers of ruffles.
