The year is slowly coming to an end and everyone is looking forward to the list of festivals coming up.

Rich Fabrics
Look royal this festive season, and get the look with rich Indian fabrics. So ditch Lycra and go for silks.
Brocade is also a good choice. If you think it is too heavy for an Indian outfit, go for a short A-line dress. Keep it simple by not using any embellishments.
If you want to wear prints, go for voil.
Minimal Embellishments
Since Indian fabrics are quite in, go for embroidery rather than simple prints. Besides flowers get paisley embroidered on your kurta or saree.
You can also go for Parsi embroidery on georgette. They come in bright colours and floral designs. Pick salwaar-kameez pieces or sarees with embroidered pallus.
