JET LI: We knew each other for more than 25 years so we were friends, then become good friends and after this movie became brothers. So am very happy to work together, the movie story is very light and we had a lot of time. We had a wonderful martial arts director. He decided all the moves, so we had a lot of time to talk, about the future, the movie industry, how big in china, how to help more Chinese actors in the future to make big movies and we discuss who is the next generation of action stars…so we just discussed a lot. It was very funny, very good, good experiences
THE SCREENING ROOM: Any interesting stories that you remember during the filming process?
JET LI: We had a 4 man shooting in China. In china we call it ying and yang. His character is more like a yang. He talks a lot, takes care of everybody, not just the actors and actress. He takes care of all the people, the employees…He takes care of everybody working on the set.
I'm quite quiet. I'm like a ying. I like reading the book, poetry, thinking, meditate. So we have different characters but when we work on the set, when we start fighting, it's totally different.
But Jackie and I, we don't need to practice. We are just like old friends, just come to the set and beat up each other. The only problem is the director and action director saying we need to slow down. Because its too fast that there are some angles we can't cover. (laughs)
