Does your mother often grumble and tell you that you spare little or no time for God?

Whether you are the religious type or not, taking mum to her favourite holy place for mother's day is a spiritual way to spend this special day.

If mum has several places of worship she simply loves to go to, why don't you arrange for a mini-religious tour for her?

If you don't want to go on a 'pilgrimage', look at it as just a travel break. 

If you have no money to go for a tour, just visit a temple or place of worship in your city.

You can also arrange for the religious pundit or priest to say a special prayer for your mum and you.

There's a hidden advantage in  this: you get your break and your mother will be proud of your 'spiritual side'.
