Everyone needs motivation to get along with their work and so does your child. Maybe her teacher is not giving her any positive feedback for her efforts.

Are you a working mom and not able to supervise your child's activities all the time? Chances are that she might claim that she is studying but in your absence she is play computer games instead. Do not forget to keep a tab on her.

Ask her in detail what are the subjects covered. Tell her to show you what she has done.
