Mother's day can be hard to celebrate, for those separated from their children by the seven seas.

Vani Rao, Teacher, has recently seen her son off to the US, for his further studies. She says, "I know it is not possible, but it would have been nice to have my son here.

Since the time he is gone, just having him back seems like a gift enough!

Then the whole family would just sit together and we could all spend a perfect day - have breakfast, lunch and dinner, chit-chat and do the house chores together.

That's just a wish - even if my son just calls me to wish, it should be enough!"
