Fashion designer Pria Kataria Puri tells you how you can recreate the 60's look.
Make-Up Magic
Deepika Padukone's look in Om Shanti Om resembles the 60's look best.

The trend of thickly lined fluttery eyes a la Sharmila Tagore in the 60s has come back in a big way, so get your eye liner pronto. It starts out being thin from the inner part of the eye, thickening out gradually towards the outer part of the lid. It is heavy on the upper lid and lighter on the lower lid.
The eye shadows also play a major part in creating this look - dark and dramatic are essential for the 60s look.
Thick, long, fake eyelashes finish the look for your eyes. The rest of the face, however, should remain devoid of make-up.
Lipsticks that work are the natural semi-nudes like baby pink, blush and light earth colours.
Make Up Essentials for that 60's look:
- The black eye liner
- Eye shadow (all in dark shades)
- Artificial eye lashes
- Mascara
- Eye lash curler
- Eye Pencil
