"Anti-cellulite gels and oils don't have any side effects on skin," says Dermatologist Dr. Kalpana Sarangi.

"You can use the gel during an exercise regime and massage it before you go for a shower. It might contribute to reducing cellulite but does not work by itself," she adds.

A soothing massage helps relax the muscles while you are exercising. This is an added advantage while you are trying to tone your thighs. But if you are thinking of only using the gels/oils against cellulite, think twice!

If you really want to reduce your cellulite, don't be lazy! Just exercise reguarly. You need to have a proper exercise regime that includes an equal measure of cardio and weight training.
