Sensitive skin can be a pain to take care of, but once you learn how to look after it, it's not so bad after all. We let you how to do just that.
Daily Dos
Often sensitive skin can sting, itch, and burn for seemingly no reason, or break-out in an irritating and all too noticeable rash. So, how do you ensure that your daily skin care routine is in accordance with your skin type?
Bhavana Paldesai of Dr. Rekha Sheth's clinic, says, "Stick to a few basic products, using only those that you absolutely, positively need. Generally, you will need a cleanser, a moisturiser and a sunscreen."
Dr. Purnima, Cosmetologist, says "Use a moisturising cleanser and ensure that it suits your skin. Always step out with sunscreen on as well. Sun can cause redness on sensitive skin, make it dry, give it rashes and make it more sensitive."
Steer clear from the regular body washes. Bhavana recommends soap free body washes for your sensitive crust. She also says, "Deodorant or anti-bacterial soaps can excessively dry sensitive skin. Avoid harsh products like grainy face and body scrubs."
