Here is a list of activities that you should encourage or avoid during pregnancy to have a smooth pregnancy and delivery.
- Get Enough Fat in Your Diet
Contrary to popular belief, fat is good. Fat and cholesterol which you would normally avoid is necessary during pregnancy to absorb fat soluble vitamins like A, D, E and K.
It is also necessary to help stretch your skin, especially during delivery.
- Kegel Exercises a Must
A weak Kegel muscle would result in immense pain during childbirth. In fact, childbirth would lead to loosening of your muscles further, thus causing discomfort post delivery, especially when you are having sex.

- Take Prenatal Vitamins
"The food you eat alone may not be able to give you the required amount of nutrients. Therefore, it is always good to supplement your diet with vitamins," says Sushila Sharangdhar, Consultant Dietician.
A lack of vitamin D in your diet can cause high blood pressure during pregnancy. However, remember not to pop any and every vitamin supplement.
