Pampered All the Way
I had bloated up to over 100kgs when I was pregnant and I felt anything but sexy. In fact, my husband played a large part in helping me change that.
He used to encourage me to go to my favourite spa, pamper myself at the parlour or even go shopping for clothes.
My personal favourites were a complete aromatherapy massage that rejuvenated my body and senses, new daring highlights (yes, I had bright red highlights added) that gave me a different look and a new maternity wardrobe.
I went to my seamstress and asked her to design clothes that looked sexy and fit me well.
I realised that feeling sexy during your pregnancy is all about looking and feeling great, no matter how much you weigh. Do the things you like and maybe, things out of the ordinary too… this was the highlights, in my case.

Spice It Up with Accessories
I did simple things like wearing old clothes that I could fit into or clothes that made me look and feel good.
I also focussed a lot on accessories to spice up my look. I used my favourite perfume because that lifts my spirits. I also fussed over my hair, made sure that it looked different. And yes, I wore make-up that highlighted my features.
Looking good is about feeling good and it is the smaller things that really made me feel good during the latter part of my pregnancy.
