Chak De captain walks the ramp

It was all shimmer and shine at the Mandira Wirk show. Aptly called Metallic Luxe, the collection brought out everything that even bling could not.
With a presence in fashion capitals like London, New York, LA, Dubai and San Fransisco, Mandira's styles have a class that is evident in the easy silhouettes that she designs.
With friends and well-wishers and (we must add) a packed house of media and buyers, this show certainly held promise.

Chak de India to Chak de Mandira!
Vidya Malavde, the showstopper at Mandira's show seemed confident as she walked down the ramp.
The dull gold jersey dress, teamed with a simple hairdo and gold eye shadow, seemed to bring out Vidya's light complexion quite smoothly. Quite a change from the hockey jersey and shorts, we say!
