How Do I Use a Sanitary Pad?
If you have boils in and around your vaginal area, go for tampons rather than using a sanitary napkin.
Why?
A tampon can be inserted into your vagina. But, if you wear a sanitary napkin, the constant friction of the pad against the boil can cause irritation and pain.

Treat it!
If you notice any kind of lesion or boil breaking out in your vaginal area, immediately alert your gynaecologist. Even if you don't experience any pain, it is very important that you show it to your doctor. Your doctor may prescribe some antibiotics to kill the pain.
However, it is better that you do not apply any skin cream without your doctor's consent, as they can give rise to skin allergy. Avoid douching when you have a boil or a lesion in your pubic area.

Things to Remember…
Whenever you shave, make sure you use a fresh blade. If you have boils in your pubic area, avoid shaving because shaving will contaminate the nearby areas as well. You could just trim your pubic hair during this time. Do not scratch the place if it feels itchy.
Lastly, do not panic if you find a boil coming along. Just go to your gynaecologist and find out what kind of boil is it and get it treated in the right time and in the right way.
