If the baby dies after the 20th week of pregnancy, the condition is called a stillbirth. This could occur even in a very healthy pregnancy.
So it is necessary to monitor your baby's growth and health at every stage. Visit your doctor for regular check ups and don't over exert yourself.
The chances of stillbirth being hereditary or genetic are rare. However, if you have a genetic disorder, it might affect your baby.
Other possible causes include any history of medical conditions like:
- Chronic hypertension
- Diabetes
- Renal problems
- Anaemia
