There is no special treatment for fainting spells. However, you can try to prevent it by having frequent meals at regular intervals. Remember, you need to have balanced food. Avoid oily and spicy food as it can lead to heartburn.

Avoid starving or eating at prolonged intervals. Carrying glucose biscuits with you will help. If you feel giddy, pop some biscuits. Carrying glucose water also helps.
Sleep in lateral positions which means sleeping on your sides also helps avoid fainting spells and the giddy feeling.

While getting off your bed or while getting up from a chair make sure you do not get up suddenly. Get up slowly, wait for some time and then start moving. If you get up suddenly the gush of blood can cause your head to spin.
For severe cases, the doctor may advise bed rest.

You cannot treat fainting spells with medication. So, make sure you take that extra precaution. If you keep getting frequent fainting spells, amkes ure you avoid going out unescorted.
