So here is what you need to know and do...
But Before That
Remember, nausea is a part of morning sickness. But vomiting is not. If the mere sight of food or the smell of food makes you throw up then it is a serious issue.
Generally morning sickness happens because of the hormonal changes that happen in your body.
However, when stress accompanies hormonal changes in your body, it can lead to extreme morning sickness or Hyperemesis Gravidarum (HG).

Extreme morning sickness is accompanied by severe vomiting, dehydration and nutritional deficiencies.

Effect on You
If you experience vomiting along with morning sickness and if you are unable to eat anything, then you are likely to feel weak and the glucose levels in your liver may start falling, consequently disrupting the functions of the liver.
The salt levels in your body will also start coming down because of the continuous vomiting.
Effect on Your Baby
If you think you are suffering, think again!
Your baby is the one who is likely to suffer more than you. While you keep vomiting and are unable to eat anything, your baby may receive absolutely no nutrition.
Remember, the first three months are most crucial as they are the developmental months for your baby. If you are vomiting continuously and are unable to eat or drink anything, you need to consult your doctor immediately.
If you don't report it, you may stand a chance of losing your pregnancy.
