According to, infertility specialist Dr. Anjali Malpani the infertility rate in women who are in their 20s is 15% and once you are in the 30s it goes up to 25%-30%.
Infertility does not always depend on the internal matters of the body, several external factors such as your lifestyle habits, stress levels, the time of sex and your age.
Time of Sex
If you don't have sex during the ovulating period, which is between the 10th and the 18th day of your menstrual cycle, there are very limited chances of you conceiving.
While you are trying to conceive, you should ideally have sex at least three times a week during the ovulating period.
"Many couples only have time to indulge in sex during the weekend which may not coincide with the women's ovulation period," says Dr. Malpani.
