Nail polishes and removers are safe, so long as they are applied on the nail which is made up of dead cells.
However, there is a chance of it being absorbed by the skin or being ingested while eating. It is best to avoid them altogether, at least during your first trimester.
But if you must, try and get yourself an edible nail polish. This way, you won't have to worry about the chemicals harming your baby - in case you lick your fingers while eating.
Also, use odourless nail polish removers that won't irritate you and urborn child. You may find it a wee bit difficult to get these in India but you could always have your husband or a friend pick it up on their next business trip.

Massage
Pregnancy can be stressful and every once in a while you may want to get a good massage.
While the occasional shoulder rub and head massage is fine, be sure to avoid the lower back, breasts and stomach as this could induce premature labour.
Massaging the breasts causes premature oxytocic release which stimulates contractions of the muscles of the uterus. A light massage to relieve the stress of the day is fine.
Also, be careful of the aroma therapy oils you use. Ask a professional aroma therapist or your gynaecologist for advice.

Jacuzzi
As for jacuzzi and sauna treatments… both are a strict no-no. But all you water babies… uh, moms… can still indulge yourselves in light wading across the pool.
You can still pamper yourself while you are pregnant. Just hold on for the first three months, and be a little careful thereafter.
But remember, everyone's body reacts differently. So be sure to consult your gynaecologist before you go in for any beauty treatment.
