Missed Rhythm
Rhythm method, also known as the calendar method, sounds like the best option since you won't need to use any external birth control.
All you need to know is your ovulation period or the time when you are likely to be fertile and avoid intercourse during this period.
But for this method to work, you need to have your menstrual cycle on track. Irregular cycle, prolonged periods or other gynaecological problems such as Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome or fibroids, can lead to error in calculating your fertile period and chances of you conceiving increase.

Dr. Vanita Raut, Gynaecologist and Obstetrician from L H Hiranandani Hospital warns that the risk involved in following rhythm method is around 30 to 35 per cent.
