Here are some make-up blunders to avoid…
Never Wear the Wrong Shades
The wrong shades can make a huge difference to your make-up (in a bad way of course).
Remember, a shade card won't help much when you decide the right shade for you.
This is because shades appear differently on the skin and in different light conditions as well.
The disadvantage of wearing the wrong shade of foundation is that it will make your face stand apart from the rest of your body.
If a person with a dark complexion wears mauve lipsticks, her lips might appear burnt.
The best and only solution is to try the make-up on your face before you head towards the payment counter.
Match Lip-liner to Colour
The job of a lip liner is to provide you with an outline, to fill colour in and to stop your lipstick from bleeding.
So the colour of lip liner and lipstick should be the same so that they can blend in together. If the shade is different, the result colour will appear odd.
Arabic women often wear a shade of lip liner that is much darker than your lipstick. This is their fashion statement; so if you want their look, go ahead.
Consider Your Skin Type
Many people don't know that cosmetics are available according to skin types, especially when it comes to dry skin.
Foundation is available in cream, liquid and powder form. You even get lipstick with moisturisers to heal dry lips.
If you have dry skin never use peel-off eyeliner. It will peel your skin and cause rashes while taking it off.
