Age Just a Factor

Psychiatrist Dr. Anjali Chhabria says, "There are several reasons why a woman marries a younger man. The first reason is that women have a dominating streak in them. Apart from that, she might feel the need to guide her partner and essentially be the more mature one in the relationship."

However, remember that the examples above are a possibility of why you may be attracted to younger men. There are older women and younger men who truly fall in love and marry for that reason.

This simply means that it depends on your attraction, understanding and love for each other. Most women delay marriage these days because they concentrate on their careers.

Nataline D'souza, 56 met her husband Anand Kulkarni, 41 at work. "I was 15 years older than Anand. People at work were nice to us but I don't know if they talked behind our backs."

Their families however were initially against the marriage. Besides Nataline being 15 years older than Anand, it was also a mixed marriage.

However they went ahead and married anyway.

"All these years and 5 children later, I would do nothing differently," says Nataline.
