If the break-up has been amicable, it is not difficult to carry on as professionals and be cordial to each other.
But if it has not been amicable, you can expect the fireworks to fly. And more so, if one of the exes has a new partner in the same office or profession!
Reveals a well known Mumbai based model, "My ex boyfriend and I did not part as the best of friends. We still run into each other at events and fashion shows, which is unavoidable. All I can do is grin and bear it."
The truth about break-ups is that they hurt, whether you keep in touch or not. As much as people deny it, it hurts to see your ex has moved on and you are still where you are. And alone.
Betsy sums it up best when she says, "I know my ex has moved on and it really does not hurt as much emotionally. But it does tug at the heartstrings sometimes."
