Coloured in Splendour
Arabia is all about rich colours like shades of maroon and royal blue set against a backdrop of earthy colours like browns ambers and antique shades too.
So go ahead and colour your bedroom in these rich hues and accent them with gold, copper and bronze.
A rough textured wall in a deep purple or amber would work well to bring out the colours. But don't choose the wall behind the bed for this because it will get hidden.

Resting Like Royalty
Nothing says royalty like a plush four-poster bed with an elegant canopy above. Make sure your bed is slightly higher than the usual 17 inches. You could go up to two feet high. You could have an intricately carved headboard with lavish leafing or inlay work.

Satins and velvets are in keeping with the look. So try rich maroon satin bed covers and accent the bed with velvet or satin cushions in royal blue. You could add delicate gold sequins to the cushions or fine embroidery. But whatever you choose, don't overdo it.
Deck your bed with sheer gold fabric in the form of a canopy or curtains around the bed and you are sure to feel like a princess.
