Dr. Vijaya Venket of Health Awareness Centre, Mumbai has a complete different take on health drinks.
According to her having eight glasses of water a day has no benefits.
She says, "Man by nature is a chewing animal and not a drinking animal. The human body doesn't need extra water, as we are made to believe. We have a food and wind pipe but no water pipe, right? That figures!"
Vijaya believes that fresh fruits and raw vegetables include enough water content, so extra litres of water we drink are obsolete
Her recommendation: The best summer health drink is simple - your favourite fruits crushed in coconut water.

Benefits: Coconut water is cooling in nature. It helps cleansing body toxins. Fresh fruits provide with vitamins and minerals necessary for your body.
