Super C smoothie
Brian Pereira, Chef on a cruise liner, shares his recipe, Super C Smoothie. He says, "This smoothie is rich in vitamin C and hence the name. When I'm on the ship, the food is rather rich and you really can't have it everyday. So I would try something healthy like this smoothie. Also, I wanted to lose weight."
What cooking is to him: I think cooking is an art so you need to be creative about whatever you make. It's an expression of what you are feeling.

Recipe
Ingredients:
¼ cup acerola - a wild cherry from the tropical rain forest
¼ cup strawberries
¼ cup orange high in vitamin c
½ cup low fat yogurt equal sweetener (optional)
Method:
1) Blend it all
2) Add crushed ice
Nutritional value: Aanchal Achipalya, Nutritionist, Talwalkars Gym says that this smoothie is a very good low calorie option. Not only is it packed with vitamin C because of orange, but it has a good content of calcium.
How to make it healthier: Since acerola is a fruit that cannot be found in India, you can add your seasonal fruits of mango and watermelon. In this manner you can get a good dose of Vitamin A and iron along with antioxidants.
How to make it more fun: Vikas Seth, Corporate Chef of Aurus says, "When I think of smoothies, colours come to my mind." You can add non alcoholic blue carcaco and orange pulp to get an attractive and colourful look.
