WHAT do we have in common with our caveman ancestors?
Popcorn!
How?
A few thousand years ago, one of our ancestors was snacking on popcorn while watching the caveman equivalent of IPL (there had to be something!) on the caveman equivalent of television.
This someone dropped a kernel of popped corn.
It escaped notice until some 5,600 years down the line when the world's oldest popcorn was discovered.
What we mean is, anthropologically, popcorn is one of the world's oldest snacks.

And it is still loved as much!
Cheese, caramel, honey, tomato or mixed, it is the perfect snack. As long as it is not drowning in butter!
Nutritionist Sushila Sharangdhar says, "Popcorn is a whole grain. And, like all cereals, it is high in B complex, which makes it a filling snack for anybody, as long as it is not overly salted or soaked in fat."
