GARY Richardson loves brunches and he is more than vocal about it.
Here is why this cricketer turned theatre personality favours them. "If you party till day-break, you cannot wake up at 1pm in the afternoon and expect to find breakfast, so brunches come to your rescue," he says.

Brunch - derived from breakfast and lunch is a portmanteau of the two words. Normally a brunch is a late morning or an early afternoon meal with the spread comprising of both breakfast and lunch fare. Though they are mostly a Sunday affair, some restaurants have weekday brunches too.
