So what can happen if you happen to cross the line of excess?
Apart from obesity and weight gain, binge eating can also cause health problems like:
- Depression
Excessive salt or sweet can alter your hormones and make you feel depressed and anxious, and even bring in insomnia. Pregnancy, in any case brings with it bouts of depression.

And eating the wrong food can eventually aggravate the situation rather than ease it.
- Gestational Diabetes
Are you crazy about the ladoos and shakarpalis and kheer? Well before you go completely ballistic over the sweets, make sure that you don't have a family history of diabetes or are diabetic yourself.
Why? Overindulging in sweets during pregnancy can make you prone to gestational diabetes.
- Loose Motion
Apart from eating unhygienic food, the loosies can also happen due to indigestion. There is a grave probability that binging on sweets from shops can cause you indigestion.
