Breakthrough: Pooja made her Bollywood debut in 1991 with the film Vishkanya, but Bollywood film Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar made her a household name. She was the poster girl for the controversial Kamasutra condoms in India.
Where she is now: Pooja quit movies in 1996 after her marriage to Farhan Ebrahim in 1995. They divorced 12 years later.
Pooja has appeared in a reality dance show on television. She has now taken up Latin American Ballroom Dancing and performs with her Nach Baliye choreographer and partner Hanif all over the globe.
