Once, Madhuri Dixit was not just a top actor but a rage. Movies have been inspired by her (remember MF Husain's Gaja Gamini and Chandan Arora's Main Madhuri Dixit Banna Chahti Hoon?).

Six years of mountain biking with Dr Sriram Nene and two lovely children later, a sparkling new American-ised Mads came back to tinsel town and enthralled all and sundry with her lithe dancing feet. Sadly, the movie sunk without a trace. But before Madhuri could pack her bags and fly off to Denver, Colorado, producer Yash Raj Films is all set to relaunch her.

Now that's what we call superstar power.
