Sure, divorce is an agonising process. But for celebrity wives, the agony entails ecstasy, thanks to the whopping sums their spouses are forced to shell out.

On Tuesday, March 18, Heather Mills-McCartney flashed a triumphant thumbs-up across world media. Heather will get $48.6 million in the court settlement of her messy divorce with former Beatle Sir Paul McCartney.

The sum is way less than $125 million Heather wanted for a settlement. Still, it's enough money to let her spend her life in Hollywood luxury, without lifting a spoon for it!
