WE have seen actress Kajol in an array of roles.
A bubbly, enthusiastic, short-tempered girl (Hindi movie Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge). A mentally unstable killer (Gupt). A woman burning for revenge of her rape-victim sister (Dushman).
But it's the role of the real-life mother, that the Bollywood movie star enjoys the most.
Her husband, actor Ajay Devgan, makes his directorial debute with movie 'U Me Aur Hum' this week. Kajol is busy playing a perfect colleague and wife.
She talks about her life as a mother, a wife and her husband, director Ajay Devgan's co-star and colleague.

What makes Kajol tick: Motherhood, of course.
When I got my first child, my daughter Nysa, I realised I was born to be a mother.
Nysa has always been my top priority. I can give up anything for her. The other day, I cancelled a long overdue appointment because I had to take Nysa to her friend's birthday party.
The sheer joy she felt at the party made my day!
Why Nysa alone? I am at the beck and call of my family at all times.
I think the family is and should be the first priority in any woman's life. I know they depend on me, just the way I still depend on my mother.
