Oscars: The sweet taste of success!

To please the palates of an entire galaxy of Hollywood stars is quite a responsibility. The selection of food and wine must celebrate the success of those going home with the golden doll. And, of course, make up for the lack of it (for all you know, the despaired stars may delve a bit deeper in the food!)
This year, it lies on the able shoulders of celeb chef Wolfgang Puck.
After months of toiling in the kitchen, gourmet master Puck came up with the scrumptious menu. It was unveiled on Saturday, February 25 in the Oscars Food Wine & Fashion Preview, at Spago in LA.

There will be over 1,600 guests attending the post-Oscars party. That means a crazily wide range of food preferences to tackle. But Puck is unphased by the challenge.
The master chef says, that the dishes have been chosen as the chef's culinary interpretation of the grandeur of the Oscar evening. "It's a mélange of the classic favourites and some innovations we hope will be liked," said the chef.
