Paris Fashion Week: Stella McCartney's magic on ramp

Celebrity designer and daughter of former Beatles singer Sir Paul McCartney, Stella McCartney has surely come a long way since her debut in 1995. Stella's brand, named after her, is a celebrity favourite - Madonna, Guy Ritchie, Gwyneth Paltrow and Jude Law are some of her regular clients.
Stella presented her Fall-Winter 08 collection at Paris Fashion Week, as usual without leather and fur (Stella is a staunch activist for animal rights). The colour palette consisted of mostly blues, greys and black.

The baloon falls have been in since last season - this silver dress with a baloon fall is a great example of how chic they can look. The spaghetti strap-ed dress is simple, yet elegant.
Platform heels are back, people! And this time, not just on your feet, but in your hands! Or was it just a ramp malfunction?
