Dimple Kapadia is a woman who personifies hot moms-in-law.
A few celebs tell you what makes their mothers-in-law happening and ever so modern.
"She accepts me for who I am"
Aditi Govitrikar, Model and Actress
I am lucky to have a mother-in-law who not only supports my work, but even chips in by babysitting the kids when need be.
I am in a profession with erratic work schedules and hours. It is difficult for me to be with my kids as much as I would like to be with them. This is when her presence helps, especially since she has a maternal influence on them.
Besides she completely understands the pressures of my work. There are times when work gets to me and I may want to have some time to myself after getting home. This is when she understands what I am feeling and allows me my space.
That to me makes her the coolest and the best mother-in-law one could have.
"My mother-in-law is more of a mother"
Sai Deodhar, Actress
The best part about my mother-in-law is that she respects my work and understands my need to be financially independent. She has been a working woman all her life and inspite of my husband and me being in a profession with erratic timings, she has supported me all through.
Some Punjabis are very rigid about their views on how their daughter-in-laws should be a home bride. But my mother-in-law has been independent all her life and she expects me to be that way too.
Besides this she is a very strong lady. For e.g. - In case she has an issue with my father-in-law, then she is firm in a way that he will never feel insulted or bad in any way.
Also she is a very flexible lady. You know if we are doing a pooja and I don't know the exact way to do certain pooja's, she just tells me to close my eyes and pray to God. She always tells me that it is the prayers that matter.
She was so understanding with me at Karva Chauth too. She told me that if I could not manage the fast, then I did not have to push myself.
So in that way I believe that she is the coolest mother-in-law anyone could ever have.
