Different materials like leather, felt etc. are being used for carpets. They usually have an interesting jute lining. Industrial waste is also being recycled and processed to produce some fabulous rugs.

We're looking at more neutral shades like creams, charcoals and blacks. The brown family is also very prominent.

The retro look is making a big comeback but in a more futuristic way. So if you are looking at a more retro décor theme for your home, remember, geometric patterns are the 'in' thing for 2008. Psychedelic prints are pretty hot too.
