Country Wine
Add a bit of country magic with a rustic bar in your living room or your open kitchen. Wood is the ideal material to build this beauty. Make sure that the grains of wood are prominent in order to give it that rustic feel.

You could have a traditional wine rack against the wall. Three or four wooden shelves set in an antique metal frame would be sufficient. The shelves could have curved slots where your bottles can sit well. Lattice wine racks also work well with this style.
Try a rectangular bar counter attached to the wall on one side. It could have a sleeper wood base with a rough finish stone top. Rest the other end of the counter on a custom-made cowboy mannequin. Keep him seated tying his shoelace with the counter resting on his shoulder or standing trying to push the counter into the wall. If you are on a budget, create the country effect by hanging a cowboy hat on one side of the counter or on the wall.
Remember to make room for a small refrigerator under the counter. You could even store those bottles of rum, gin and vodka in there.
Place a couple of barrels around the counter for those who would rather hang around the bar than hit the dance floor. Leather cushion covers in colours like tan brown or fawn would match well.
Ditch the cabinet display for those long stemmed wine glasses and champagne flutes. Instead use a couple of steel rods to hang your glasses upside down. Add a couple of spotlights above for a dazzling effect.
