Don't forget to use a styling product to set your curls well. Finger comb them from time to time to avoid those dratted tangles.

The best products: Sylvia says, "A disconnected layering on long,
curly hair looks best with a semi-wet or a scrunched look. You can do that with L'Oréal lumi oil serum (Rs.250), for shine, and L'Oréal Mousse (Rs.150), for curl definition."
The best colours: Platinum blonde or wine red, depending on the skin tone.
Use shampoos and styling products that lend your curls extra shine and fall. For regular wear, tie your hair into a ponytail or a bun. Braid this, to prevent knotting," suggests Asieel.
Get Creative with Your Curls!
Bring on some variety to those curls, by straightening only the front fringe permanently or relaxing hair to maintain side-swept bangs or fringes, suggests Sylvia.
- Curly hair tends to be dry due to its curved surface. Use products specially formulated for curly hair to enhance your curls.
- Leave-in conditioners are a boon for curly hair as they keep curly hair moisturised and structured curls intact.
- Curly hair looks best when dried without combing.
- Layered haircuts work best for curly hair as they take away the bulk and volume from the hair.
