The French Get into Your Hair!

French hairstylist, Jean Claude Biguine (pronounced as 'jhon clod begin') is your quintessential Frenchman, straight out of ze movies. He knows a smattering of English, isn't afraid to be politically incorrect and his opinions on style, hair, women and politics, are staunch.
During our brief tête-à-tête, he deftly ran his fingers through my bangs (which sadly turn limp by 7 pm everyday), his quizzical expressions indicating that my tresses were being sized up.
The verdict: the voluminous bulk that is the average Indian woman's hair, gets a thumbs-up from the man. And he's excited about styling it because there’s more scope to snip and play with. On a different note, the French President, and his colourful escapades with his current lady love, gets a thumbs-down!
