‘A pet is equal to a hundred toys’ it is said. When children literally beg for a pet it is emotionally tough for parents to decline the appeal.
Though most parents appreciate the instinct of ‘animal care’ in their children and wish to nurture the virtue, they are mostly bound by constrains, like time and space.

"A fish tank is less demanding on time and space; therefore an easy option for parents and great fun and learning for children," says Ashish Bagla, Mumbai’s eminent aquarium man, who has designed regular and exotic tanks for homes, schools, offices and public places.
Ashish owns an aquarium and pets shop at Juhu, Mumbai, named ‘Loony Dudes’.
"Aquarium does not demand great expertise. It is only important to have interest, choose the right equipments and understand the basic rules. Once set it only requires day to day feeding. Conveniently fish, unlike other pets, remains in the tank. They do not mess around nor do they have to be let out for natures call," Ashish assures young parents and first time aquarium keepers.
