THERE is a lot more happening at Beijing this time besides the proud Olympic torch burning on.
China has embarked on a massive PR exercise to show the world that it is now modern and peace-loving.
The protests in Tibet though tell us a different story. Rumour has it that a few players are contemplating boycotting the games over the Tibet issue.
But amidst all the disturbances, the Olympic museum has always stood as a symbol of peace and friendly competition. Communist China too has a temporary exhibition with the works... Chinese style.
We give you a little peek into the Olympic museum at Beijing.

The temple theme stands for what is true to China. The colour red represents fire and means 'reaching upwards' for the Chinese. No wonder then that the top is a red reaching for the sky.
