SO many of us run on a tight schedule with more to get done than time in which to do it. We have our work, our family, our friends, our health, our homes, and our personal life all vying for our time and attention.
And time out just for ourselves often falls to the low end of our priority list.
The problem with that is that if you don't take time to renew yourself, you'll really have nothing left to give to all the other people and activities on your list. It's kind of like running on empty—if you don't fill the gas tank in your car, you're not going anywhere.
We all need to fill our tanks, recharge our batteries, and spend quality time alone on a regular basis.
When you don't, you probably feel mentally and physically exhausted, anxious and stressed, and certainly not a happy camper. Is that any way to live a fulfilling life?
