WE find ourselves doing it all the time: trying to pinpoint where we really are.
Sure, we are in India. Sure, this is India, but there is something missing.
Patriotism, check.
Filth on the roads, check.
More cows than humans on the zebra crossings, check.
Definitely India!

So what is it, exactly?
You probe and prod yourself a little and you find out: it is not the country, it is the people!
And, almost naturally, you draw up a few just conclusions:
Even though all Indians are different, each place has its own type of Indian.
And the particular type of Indian in each said place has his or her own quirks that help define them as a separate species altogether.
Facts apart, these much-discussed Indians tingled our fancy. And here we are, chronicling a Tale of Four Cities!
