On a Trek
Depending on where you plan to go for your honeymoon trek, you need to carry along the right kind of clothes as well.
For high altitudes and snowy mountainscapes, do remember to carry clothes that will keep you warm.
Alternatively, for low altitude places, pack in loose cotton track pants and cargoes to protect your legs from a fall.
Moreover, if it gets cooler at night, you'll be glad of the warmth they provide. But do carry along some thermals as well.
Keep your upper body warm with long sleeve t-shirts and pullovers as they protect your arms from the sun.
If you plan to wear short sleeves, do be sure to carry sunscreen - preferably of SPF 15 or higher.
Remember, the sun's intensity is far greater at high altitudes, so make sure you protect your exposed skin to prevent being sunburnt.
Carry sunglasses and caps to shield you from the sun! And to keep your ears warm in cold snowy weather, carry mufflers and monkey caps.
A snug windcheater will keep the wind at bay after your trek is done for the day. In a showfall area, do carry extra sweaters and snow jackets.
Being on a trek does not mean you don't look your best. After all, you are on your honeymoon too! Throw in a few ponchos when you pack your bag. Not only will they add a touch of class to your trekking outfits but they will also cover your rucksack as well.
Body Basics
If you decide to rough it out, it may not be possible to take frequent baths. So carry extra undergarments. Trek in one pair of clothes, sleep in another pair and change your undergarments too!
Don't forget to pack in hand wash and wet and dry tissues to keep you clean as you might not have readily available water. Remember to carry talcum powder and a moisturiser as well.
