What you can do though, is make sure that you select the best crèche for her.
How to Choose the Right Creche
According to Syeda Rukhsheda, a family psychiatrist, "A crèche should cater to both the physical and emotional needs of the child."
You must first find out about the standard of the crèche and assess it thoroughly before putting your kid in it. It is advisable to opt for a professional crèche with a well-trained staff.
Find out about the reputation of the crèche by speaking to other parents and neighbours of the crèche if possible. Ask them about the consistency of care and the dedication of the staff there.
Also, look out for the hygiene conditions followed by the crèche.
Fulfil Her Emotional Needs
Before deciding on a crèche, find out if they cater to the emotional needs of the kid. i.e.: Find out if the staff spends one-on-one time with each kid, whether the kids are being hugged, etc.
If you can, try and spend a few hours there to see the interaction style between the crèche staff and the kids.
Cater to His Physical Needs
Check on what kind of activities the crèche has to offer. i.e.: Do they provide kids with toys? Do they organise outings?
Make sure that the crèche has a huge play area and is not cramped. Find out what kind of food is provided to the kids and what you need to provide for your baby.
Check for their safety rules and precautions and what their plan of action is in case of emergencies. Make sure that they keep medicines and other poisonous liquids or things out of reach.
After deciding on a crèche, make sure you leave your contact numbers with them so that it is easy to contact you in times of an emergency. Make sure that you have their contact information as well.
Don't feel guilty about leaving your baby there. Remember that you have checked out the place and selected the best crèche for her.
